Reset and Cleanup¶
Edition: Core and Pro
Use Revert from the latest completed stage rather than manually deleting generated nodes.
| Revert | What it removes | State after revert |
|---|---|---|
| Step 3 | Final texture/material build | Step 3 settings remain available. |
| Step 2 | Follicles, controls, and supporting Step 2 build | Editable guides remain; Create Control can run again. |
| Step 1 | Guides | Selected mesh remains; create a new guide setup. |
Removing a layer row¶
In Pro, use the × button on a child, nested, or secondary row. If a final network already exists, use Step 3 Revert first, change the rows, then build again.
Manual cleanup¶
If an interrupted Maya session leaves a setup behind, inspect the corresponding
Texelator_<MeshName> group. Manual deletion is a last resort because it can
remove scene nodes that the tool expects for setup resumption. TODO: Confirm
this information against your production scene before deleting generated
groups manually.
